Re: Reset Watch via Time Sight

    Hello Greg, Frank  and All:

By plotting my data and taking a "best fit" point/sight, I calculated (standard equation) a time increase  + 19 minutes  4 seconds.  I deliberately altered the watch by   retarding it   19 minutes 20 seconds.

The calculated results are quite good, I think, especially because the dip short distance is approximate (from a chart). Also, it was difficult to clearly see the water line "horizon"  with a shadow from the sloping bank  at the water's edge. This summer I'll  go to another spot where the horizon is fully distant and get another set of data. Will try method suggested by FER.

    Bruce
