Frank (and anyone else who might have this problem),

I recognize this problem, and there is a simple solution.

Because of my poor programming knowledge, I put this note in the Help from the very first version:  "Font size must be set to 96 dpi (called small, standard, or normal, depending on operating system)."

Let me know if this helps.

    Stan

P.S.  FWIW, I have several later versions of Visual Studio on my computer, but my efforts to change to .net have been less than successful.  There are certain things that do not convert easily.  But as long as Microsoft keeps providing the required runtime files with their OS updates (or at least makes them available on their web site), my attitude is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Also, I tried making a Mac version using a program called RealBASIC, which lets a program be compiled in any of several ways (Windows, Mac Linux, etc.).  Crashed and burned again :.

    Stan,
I am sorry to say that your software is largely non-functional at this time on my Windows laptop, which I don't think is an atypical modern Windows installation. Almost no functions work, and many interface elements are completely unreadable. The UI is basically broken. I am attaching an image showing three basic windows from your application, all of which are unreadable.
But I must state clearly that I am quite sure it can be fixed in a week or two. These are "user-interface" problems, and do not reflect on your calculation engine --which, quite honestly, I cannot access at this time. You probably need a much more modern VB development solution before you can put this out for actual "beta" testing. I haven't used "stand-alone VB" in over a decade though I program in VB.net every day and indeed the whole NavList forum is built on that framework. You need an upgrade. Have you installed any versions of Visual Studio? For this project, you could use one of the FREE editions.
For those folks on Macs, etc., understand that this is a Windows-only build. Hewitt, you're on a Mac and/or iPad, right? You could run it in an emulator, but not native Mac (OSX) and certainly not on an iPad.
Sean, and anyone else concerned, there's no "virus". Those warnings are just nanny-gmail looking out for you. If those warnings scare you, don't download the file. It probably won't work for you anyway at this time.
