    Stan et al.,

Normally, I would just assume it was gmail mistaking the attachment for malware. BUT, I just spent this morning removing a trojan from my computer. *IMPORTANT*: I don't think the two are related! Probably just a coincidence. I think I got the trojan from another download altogether, but now I'm extra alert to this sort of thing. I checked the message out with my phone and it appears to be fine and legitimately from you. I'm still not going to open the attachment though, on the off chance it was intercepted and modified. Besides, I already downloaded the new version of the program from your post here on NavList. And I can read the change log right from my phone. However, if I were you, I'd still check my computer, just to be safe.

I just wanted to let you know and to remind everyone to be very careful when opening attachments in general and downloading content from the web. It's a good idea to make frequent backups on an external/removable drive and/or cloud service. Also, if you use Windows, keep your installation disk handy or make a recovery disk. That's what saved me this morning. I was able to restore my system to the point just before I got the trojan. That and *several* anti-virus programs, which removed most of the malware. There are some good, free anti-virus programs available. Spybot S&D and MalwareBytes are the two I mainly use, along with Windows Defender.

Anyway, thanks for the message and I'll start fiddling with the program soon.

    -Sean C.
