I have just caught up with Navlist after a prolonged distraction involving restoring an antique chronometer. If you are still looking for a new horizon mirror please contact me at nzengineernzATgmail.com, or you could follow the instructions here: https://sextantbook.com/?s=new+sextant+mirrors
The arc of your Kelvin HUghes sextant is very likely nickel silver, i.e. a bronze in which about half the zinc has been replaced by nickel.
