Refill the bubble reservoir: periscopic MS28011-1-5 sextant

I was a B52 navigator and have several MS28011- series 1-3 sextants. All need bubble fluids replaced.
I have the USAF manual on how to do so but I'd like some personal advice as I worry that I'll mess it up.
I have the bubble chamber removed but am afraid to go further. Any advice will be graetly appreciated.
