If you're sure you've got a bubble, it might just be you're not holding your sextant as steadily as you used to. As a first try, put it on a window ledge and use playing cards as shims under the sextant to try and center the bubble that way. I've also used a spirit level laid across the top of my aircraft sextants to start me off. If that doesn't work, it must be more serious. DaveP
