Greg, Both Freiberger and Cassens-Plath did this for me. I don't remember how much did it cost, but the price was moderate and reasonable. However, I have to say that both certificates are of no practical use. Only some assurance that everything is OK. C-P just wrote "Good for practical needs", and Freibegrer filled the table with some seconds... I was never able to extablish the relation of these numbers to my observations. Freiberger also adjusted some points, put some lubricant in on telescope etc. Alex. > Hi All, > Does anyone know of a service that would check the certification > of a sextant and supply me > with a new calibration card?
