The Blundell Academy Duplex 504 slide rule has a special gauge mark for meridian calculations. Its use is fully decriobed in "The Slide Rule for Air and Sea Navigation" by J.C. Podmore, the ex meridian problem is discussed on page 69 ff.
I have not been able to find a good description of the method to perform ex meridian measurements and calculations. Anyone has a good reference for me?
