Interesting problem. With a star identifier set for LHA of Aries and DR Lat. should nail down the body. Also I have never used a stop watch for taking my sight time. A glance at the chronometer watch is enough to note time allowing of course for the number of seconds between the sight instant and getting to the watch.Stopping the navigational watch(Chronometer) at each sight I would say could lead to error in time. Anyway this is a very interesting puzzle and topic. Barrie Hudson
