    Primer of Navigation Replacement

    Hello:

I think the textbook Primer of Navigation by George Mixter is just excellent in terms of writing style , examples, and practicality. However, it is dated.

My  second edition , 6th printing 1945, is falling apart. I know it went through many more printings with various other authors.  Is there a particular edition that retains the same pithy  basic style that is somewhat newer?  Recommendations please.  I believe it was published into the 1960s.  Did later editions change significantly?

    Thanks in advance for advice.

    Bruce
