I learned celestial from his 4th edition (1960) and he used HO 211 and HO 214, he mentions HO 218 and HO 249 but gives no examples.

    Hello:

In overview, I've learned a lot from Mixter's Primer of Navigation, 2 nd edition 1945. But this edition does not spend any time on the most modern "air" tables and methods for solutions.

I would appreciate from the List info on the best edition to purchase with more modern approaches. I'm thinking an edition some time in the 1950s, or even the early 1960s, when rapid development was occurring, but hopefully the book was not totally rewritten. I like the style.

    Thanks

    Bruce
