Poking around a bit led me to the intended 1 May press releases, which is (today) at http://www.whitehouse.gov/library/PressReleases.cgi?date=1&briefing=0 It looks as if "date=0" in the URL means today and "date=1" means "yesterday", so if you don't find a press release about Global Positioning System Accuracy, poke around a bit until you do.
