Dan, An interesting compilation. I have been a member since at least 1995 - Dan Hogan would probably be better able to confirm. I'm currently based in Venezuela, but travel to Europe 1-2 times a year and USA with similar frequency so location is not a problem. I like Philip's proposal to meet using the RIN as a venue.. I'm a "Suspended associate member" as being in Venezuela I'm not able to enjoy all the facilities and meetings. London Boatshow would certainly be nice venue for the Europeans and perhaps for our N. American friends to see what is on offer in the UK. By the way I was Runner-up to the International Oceanic Award of the RIN in 1998. In order for it to be an effective and interesting meeting perhaps we should have an agenda. Topics to be discussed. Perhaps contributors would like to give some presentations...20 minutes or so. As you say we have a large reservoir of experience, it would be terrific to capture some of this. Your thoughts.... Aubrey.
