    Thanks again for your views on the possible limitations to lunar distances [7518, 7519, 7521, 7522, 7524 and 7524]. And thank you Wolgang for providing the relevant pages from the "Lehrbuch" [7506].
     I will certainly try to find arguments from other literature and come back but it can take some time. One observation though. The example presented in the "Lehrbuch" is solved with formulas 18 and 20. It is a little awkward because the "Lehrbuch" seems to recommend formulas 21 and 23.
