Positional astronomy with Microsoft Visual Studio
    From: Paul Hirose
    Date: 2007 Jan 17, 13:09 -0800

At my web site I've added some Visual C# code which demonstrates how a
.NET Framework application can call routines in the SOFA/JPL DLL. The
other Visual Studio languages can do this too, though the syntax would
    be different.

The SOFA/JPL DLL is a positional astronomy "engine" for Windows. It
contains the Fortran routines at the heart of the Astronomical Almanac
and the USNO MICA program. Click the link on the web page for a detailed
    description.

I plan to write a more friendly user interface for this DLL. The
present interface is inconvenient unless you're calling the routines
from unmanaged (i.e., not .NET Framework) C or C++.
