At 42d 17.2' N, 85d 44.5'W the aurora borealis had more color, being a bluish color at when I looked at about 2315 EST. It is unusual to see aurora effects south of 45dN. I would imagine that north of 45dN there would be even more color. Any word on excessive radio interference or GPS loss of performance due to strong solar flare activity?
