Sorry about that - I thought perhaps that it really was the name of the book
    - or a Freudian slip.

I've heard of "Golf Cursing" but "Sail Cursing"?

If anyone has a copy of the "Best of Sail Cursing", published by Sail
Magazine Books. It is their original 1st Edition hardcover version, or
subsequent softcover versions of the first pub, you will find an article
titled "A New Method of Plotting Celestial Lines of Position". A different
author details how to do this in your log book using the ruled lines either
vertically or hormonally for lat or long. I have used the technique for
years, and find it very useful. I recall sending a link to a tanker
captain's site who kept scrupulously detailed celestial entries, and who may
    also have used it.

I ran across a nice Web Site by John Ellsworth with a good article on hand
made plotting sheets from a 1973 Sail Magazine.
