"Celestial Navigation for Yachtsmen" by Mary Blewitt. Yachtwomen, of course, do not need a book to teach them celestial navigation. They do the cooking, the cleaning, and haul on a rope when told. That said, I found this book by this yachtswoman the best on the subject I have read.
You need to get a collection of books on celestial navigation. One of them will have a style and presentation which suits your way of thinking and then you will learn quickly.
