Philip, which kind of lubricant should I use after cleaning the endless tangent screw? There's a narrow gap between it and the pivot housing, do I have to pry it up (with a knife or so)? Federico Federico, IF it is like the Plath I disassembled, yes it is. Pry it straight up. Do NOT twist. The washer fits a square boss on the pivot screw. You may be able to use your fingernail to lift it. A knife edge or padded plier would also do. Use care with what ever tool you see fit to use.
