    IF it is like the Plath I disassembled, yes it is. Pry it straight up. Do
    NOT twist. The washer fits a square boss on the pivot screw. You may be
    able to use your fingernail to lift it.  A knife edge or padded plier would
    also do.  Use care with what ever tool you see fit to use.
