    I'm relaying a request for information that has just appeared on the "rete" 
    mailing list, which is mainly for curators of museums that have a scientific

    I am trying to establish the date of a sextant that is signed �C. Plath 
    Hamburg� and �4252� and that has a drum micrometer. Any help would be 
    greatly appreciated.
