Wrong. I said that to anyone my age (and for that matter probably most other people, too), the phrase "your mother wears army boots" (let alone what I actually posted) is harmless nonsense --a joke insult-- something very old that cartoon characters used to say as a joke. I also asked if perhaps some of you older people on the list STILL consider this phrase some sort of insult. But you didn't reply to that and instead chose to demonstrate your "respectful posting style" by calling me "14". Ooooo, ouch. Ya really got me there. What a horrible thing to be called young. :-)
Oh and finally (and really I HOPE this is "finally"), don't take my word for it... look it up! Hit google.com, click on the Advanced Search tab, and in the Exact Phrase box, type in "your mother wears army boots". Give it a try. And see if you can find the phrase "jocularly derisive" out there somewhere. I hope I do not have to explain what "jocularly" means.
As I have said, I have found this whole episode "surreal".
