I got the book from CSUSB's library. The exact title was
"Lost Islands: The Story of Islands that Have Vanished From
Nautical Charts" by Henry M. Stommel Univ. of B.C. Press, 1984
    ISBN 0774802103

If I go to the library soon ( and remember ) I'll re-checkout the
book and look up Tabor and see if it is in it.
