I've got a Citizen Eco-Drive quartz wrist watch, almost 15 years by now.
It's rate is less than 1 minute every half a year (I set it only for
daylight saving time and back). Watertight to five atm and it's titanium
    case can't rust.

Aha, but if mine (at its current most pessimistic indicated rate) gains a second every two weeks that's 13 seconds a half year!  Its supposed to be some kind of 'water resistant', too.  To 100m, it says.  I imagine yours was kind of expensive and would be fairly difficult to replace, and that this would also apply to the exotic machine proposed by Marcel Tschudin.

Nah, I'm just kidding.  It sounds like a nice watch.  More to the point, we would all be very glad to have access to it, if it was the last timekeeper on board.
