I was in Britain in 2009 and had the good fortune of meeting George. I was in London with my wife and George invited us to come up Oxford and he gave me advice on what train to take and said he would meet us at the Oxford train station. I asked how would I recognize him and he said "just look for Father Christmas." We got off the train, walked into the station and I walked over to him and said "Hello, George." (See attached photo of my wife with George.) George drove us to his house and his wife Joan fed us a nice lunch. Not surprisingly, George has an extensive library and Joan has an extensive garden. They then showed us around Oxford and then put us back on our train back to London. I really appreciated their hospitality to a pair of Yanks.
Get well, George.
