    Frank,

the Nautisches Jahrbuch for 1919 and 1921 (published 1918 and 1920) both include a separate section for lunar distances. It seems that they were taken out of the general pages around 1906 and confined to this special section printed on red paper - which, by the way is also the colour that arrest warrants are printed on in Germany nowadays and probably since time immemorial. I haven't found out when they were dropped completely but will let you know when I find out.

    Cheers

    Wolfgang
