I mentioned a paper published in 1965 by Dr. T.L. Thomas regarding the gyro theodolite: PIM produced by BAC - British Aircraft Corporation. Mr. Peter Hakel asked for reference to this paper so I have scanned it for perusal here. It might be of interest, though I hesitate to re-ignite the debate on Coriolis and rotating (Earth) inertial space frames and forces involved. It will be useful to have it stored here too for posterity as I expect the original paper is difficult to obtain now. Douglas Denny. Chichester.
