Hi John,
Greetings from Shelter Bay, waiting for the transit.
It was in 2009. I was also on that leg from Charleston to Bermuda with Tim. Unfortunately, financial difficulties forced Schooner Virginia to stop operation after arrival in St. Thomas. I returned with her back to her home port, where she was hauled out. Actually, I got off at Morehead City a few days before Christmas. Schooner Virginia is back in the water now.
Cheers,
Herbert

Herbert,Well, I'm really envious of you sailing on the Virginia from Bermuda to St. Thomas. In 2009 I almost made a leg from Charleston to Bermuda as their CN instructor on the Virginia, but got bumped at the last minute by Tim Queeney. I always enjoy David Berson's one-page article on Cel Nav in the ON, but have never met either Tim or David. I'm sure they both do a great job teaching. What year was your Bermuda to St. Thomas leg??JK
