Thanks to all for the info.
I probably should have been a little more complete in my reason for wanting these.
I just finished the chapter in the Starpath CelNav course on LAN. The use of the Mer Pass (GMT) is part of the figuring out when the LAN will occur. They then tell you to start taking sights before and after, then use the highest. They say that it is of limited use, but part of the learning process.
I assume that at some point I'll have, at least, a rudimentary understanding of the figuring out of the Mer Pass, but as of now...well, I spent most of time while reading all of your info on figuring it out scratching my head!
Frank,I'm familiar with Cedar Lake. I'm not familiar with Waukegan pier, but am with Waukegan (I drive a truck locally), and that seems like a future road trip.
Dave, I'd like to hear more about your 'mirror on the tripod'. How accurate has it been? I have the Davis artificial horizon, but the ability to also being able to shoot stars would be nice - just more and varied practice.
The reason I ask for the Mer Pass of those days is I haven't bought my NA, yet. Soon, though.

    Thanks again,
