For what it's worth, I have never had any problems with links. Sometimes they are click-able, others need to be copied and pasted. Occasionally someone posts one that needs a bit of tweaking, but that is the exception. I have my mail client set to display in plain text only. HTML and Plain Text rendering of posts will display links differently. What is a problem (for my slow connection) is when someone attaches mega byte images.
