Dear Stuart,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I have taken a close look at your "RStuartEllipsoidParallax.pdf" document which is excellent and self explanatory.
Then, as I earlier suspected the NAL formula is a series approximation to a full series. You are also confirming that the 0.°0032 Coefficient is based on an averaged 57.7' value for parallax, which is also what Andrés seemed to imply in his last post on the subject (see : http://fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx/Oblateness-formulas-Andr%C3%A9sRuiz-jun-2013-g24325).
Accordingly, if I am using the value "1/298.257 * Dt/Dg" instead of 0.°0032 I am actually deriving a closer value. I have to confess that I was quite lucky on that one (see : http://fer3.com/arc/m2.aspx/Oblateness-formulas-Couëtte-jun-2013-g24329).
As regards the accurate Augmented SD and Parallax 3D space determination, I fully agree with your comments. This is the only method I have been using for quite some time.
Thank you again and
Best Friendly and "Parallaxian" Regards
Kermit
