Randall,
You will need to teach yourself how to make a plotting sheet then plot your location on it. Otherwise Pub 229 assumed positions will provide misleading intercept perceptions. Based on the Moon information provided I get an intercept of 1.0' away from your position of observation (not the assumed position). See the attached online sight reduction.
