If anybody is interested I'd also like to point you towards the Open Source Generic Mapping Tools website: http://gmt.soest.hawaii.edu/ Primarily biased towards UNIX and Linux operating systems there are also some MS Windows executables to be found at: http://www.soest.hawaii.edu/gmt/gmt/gmt_windows.html The range of maps and charts you can create with this software is mind boggling! A word of warning - there is no graphical user interface, it's all on the command line or dos prompt via a series of complicated commands, switches and options - also mind boggling!
