    I agree completely, but my basic equation for the difference between the
    measured time of maximum altitude and LAN considers the change in
    longitude. I dismissed that as inconsequential for small boat sailing.
    Your B-52 example wakes me up, in that it then may be a significant
    factor. So my equation becomes more complicated for non-sailors. I'm not
    going to worry about it.
