John: As I outlined my method, both Latitude and Longitude are determined at LAN. Your grappling with these issues tells me that my method is not as obvious to many navigators as it was to me. It hit me in an instant. But the problem had been on the back burner of my mind for 23 years. Those to whom the idea is more recent are at a relative handicap.
