I've been very happy with John Manson's trilogy (Sights/Sailings/Piloting) for the Palm, was $20 and may be found closer to ten now. Nothing fancy but nicely laid out, does the math the same way all the others do, and doesn't need an instruction guide to figure it out. Tried CelestNav but for a very irregular user it becomes hard to remember where to go and what to do, there's an awful lot of features in it. (Very nice if you needed all that regularly, or had the wits to memorize it.)
