    Re: Non-traditional Sight Reduction

I have no experience with computer software and have not looked into it
for the simple reason that I never intendt to take a computer with me on a
boat trip. It just seems like a cumbersome proposition.
If you want to go non-traditional, vis a vis site reduction, buy yourself
a Celesticomp calculator. It is a superb, compact, little unit and best of
all, it does not come with a 10,000 page manual, nor does it require you
to be well-versed in integral calculus to operate it. In fact you can just
start plugging away without even reading the instructions; it is that user
friendly. Furthermore, the fellow that owns the company is a very nice guy
and also responsive to customer queries.
I give it five gold stars.
And no, I am not a shareholder in the company. I am just very impressed
    with the Celesticomp.
