    Any results from the "toy"?
My main question would be whether it was made correctly or if it was slapped together to appeal to us hopeless collectors of shiny gadgets.
    Regards, Noell

Adding to Sean's reply, I agree with the 15 minute range. The weather has only permitted me a few chances to test it out. I had to customize it after my son dropped it on the patio. The nocturnal is constructed of four pieces and some epoxy. After the drop, the epoxied retention ring popped off. I "fixed" it by threading the main body and using a threaded rod from a lamp. Now it's held together with a few brass nuts. The threaded rod sticks out about an inch on the front, which works great for a long sight tube.
