    Hi James, I think my reply to your original post some days ago was lost by
    my ISP. Here it is again, below. Since my post there have been a few more
    posts suggesting greater interchangeability of telescopes than I would have

    Welcome to the list James. There has been a fair bit of discussion of Soviet
    sextants over the last few weeks.....just search the archives since about
    the beginning of this month. Our web page is at www.wa6pby.com and that
    tells you how to get to the archives. In passing, I doubt very much whether
    anything from Freiberger would fit your sextant and I think that possibly
    the cost of a telescope from Freiberger would be more than you would pay for
    a complete SNO-T on Ebay.
