    True, but one of his receivers was adding the easterly variation without a 
    minus, giving a difference from his other receiver of twice the
    variation. That is a programming blunder in the receiver firmware. The 
    manufacturer should take it back or fix the firmware. It is not fit
    for the intended (or any other) use.
