Hi Robert! Good to hear from you and thanks for reply!! Loved your Nav Found articles it must be pretty cold up there for Lunars! Regarding Prism Level I have tried those good folks maybe I will try them again in future. I was lucky to have one on my Davis Mk 15. It was neat too bad it was on a cheap sextant! See you later and Lunars forever!

My god man! You are far, far gone. Perfect for this forum!I too, would love to get a hold of a prism level as described in one of the earlier issues of the Navigator's Newsletter. I could suggest contacting one of their directors, John Luykx but I think I may have already posed this question to him some years ago. Nevertheless, you should try him or try contacting Terry Carroway who is now the editor of the Navigator's Newsletter and who was a very good friend of Admiral Davies'.If you find one, let me know.Robert----- Original Message -----From: MIKE BURKESSent: Monday, October 14, 2002 5:27 PMSubject: "Newbie"Hi folks and thanks for allowing me the opportunity to join your organization! My name is Mike Burkes and Cel Nav is a great hobby of mine! I have 4 sextants:2 marine(Astra and Simex) and 2 bubble(Bendix Mk 5 and Fairchild A-10). I also belong to the Foundation for the Promotion of Navigation.I love Lunar Distance and sometimes the results are pretty good! I have a question. Does anyone have a Prism Level (invented by Adm Davies) that would fit the above marine sextants or any info regarding source(s)? Your reply would be appreciated immensely!! Yours Truly,Mike.
