Byron: This is a demonstration of the capability of the 2 minute STAR FINDER that no other finder can do. It will place the SUN, Planets & stars on the star disk to read the GMT, bearing and altitude at any time. It will let you set bodies at your zenith or sweep the horizon and stop to let you read the GMT time of occurance. The NAVIGATOR and STAR WATCHERS of long ago could use this information. I don't go to sea now, I wonder if anyone that was the time and will go to sea and will run an evaluation of the accuracy of the Zenith overhead, positioning and the horizon sweeping and other techniques. perhaps members could suggest other such evaluations that can be planned on the star finder? I would suppy the Star Finder and Arm Chair information.
