    Antoine, you must have done something really bad in order to get assigned to 
    the US Navy, and our food must have been inhumane punishment to you.  Did 
    your fellow American flyboys make you sing the theme song to "The Muppets" 
    television show?  Carry a little green frog in your flight case as a 
    good-luck charm?
    Regarding storms at sea, I can't remember anything too bad in the Pacific.  
    Was in or way too close to four hurricanes in the Atlantic: two in the 
    Caribbean where there's never enough sea room, one south of Bermuda.  The 
    fourth we knew as the Halloween Nor'easter.  The hurricane forecasters called 
    it the No Name Hurricane (after the fact), and an author called it The 
    Perfect Storm.  We were south of the worst of it.
    Experienced two rouge waves, which were a bit more exhilarating than a storm.  
    One in the Pacific and the other in the Atlantic, and both at night.  In the 
    Atlantic, we hung for a good three seconds before starting the backroll.  
    This rolling after dropping into the hole at the wavefront.  You do a lot of 
    contemplating in three seconds (and no navigating) when you're laying on a
