New Jersey Naval Museum-WWII Balao class sub, Japanes Kaiten, and German Seahund

    Date: 2012 Apr 13, 14:53 -0700

As a recent member to the list, I am a former naval officer and a long serving trustee of the New Jersey Naval Museum, Hackensack, New Jersey. (website http://www.njnm.com/)

In addition to the former USS LING (WW II Balao Class fleet submarine), we have one of only three remaining WW II Japanese Kaiten IIs (means turned towards heaven) a two man suicide torpedo submarine and the only known WW II German Seahund (means seadog) two man coastal defense submarine.

If anyone someday happens to be in the area, reach out before hand to arrange a tour. Regards, John Carbone
