George H, you wrote: "There has recently been some sort of concord, between Frank and me, about aspects of star-star distances, and also about the effects of magnification on eye danger. That seemed an unnatural state of affairs, and here I am bringing it to an end." Phew. For a while, I worried it might be a sign of impending apocalypse. Doomsday is averted...! :-) By the way, I'm not interested in your sermon (your choice of word) on courtesy. I don't think "courtesy" is one of your areas of competence. Having said that, I will say that you have several areas of VERY HIGH competence in navigational science. Stick to those, and you will always find respect. But when you, or anyone else, goes off on a "rant", you only hurt yourself. That's the hard, cold truth for all of us on NavList. -FER --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Navigation List archive: www.fer3.com/arc To post, email NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
