Hi to everyone on NavList, I enjoy reading most of your posts it's a great site. I am the proud owner of a C.PLATH Navistar Classic which i purchased in 1992 or 1993 when I was a deckhand on the Fedship Aurora based in Ft Lauderdale Florida. I wish to now pin down the date of manufacture of said Sextant. The Serial number is :64329 Type number is :4532AF There is a imprint of the NAVISTAR brand name on the arc.

If I have provided enough detail could one of the NavList members with knowledge of such Sextants help me determine the approximate date of manufacture of my Navistar.
