First the correct number of books for a single navigator is N + 1 were N is the current number of books; for a married navigator it  is D - 1 were D = Divorce.
I would recommend "We the Navigators" by David Lewis. I am fascinated by Polynesian navigation. This book is the definitive work on the topic.

I've accumulated quite a few books on navigation over recent years. My wife would say too many, though she seems to accept my addiction.

For NavList: If you could possess just one book on navigation, which one would it be? Remember, just one.
