I lived five of the last ten years in the north of England and five in the mountains of Tennessee in the U.S. There is a big difference between the English and American robins. The English bird is small, brown, and frequently shown perched in the snow on Christmas cards. The American bird is larger, darker colored (coloured), and a sign of spring. You can bet the entire film crew was American. (Or, maybe she would be home for Christmas.) Bill Murdoch
