Thank you for taking the trouble to give us some real
celnav
problems. Keep them coming. Some of us are busy with jobs that have
nothing to do with navigation except avoiding traffic jams, and
thunderstorms at Dallas/Ft. Worth, so we may not respond immediately.
Not a problem John. The list motivates me to get the sextant out when I'm on watch as well as here at anchor. It also makes me dust some old cobwebs like using the Equation of time method which I haven't even tried in about 12 years. Since it is a full moon today, I think that I will try a moon line, but I have always had trouble getting an accurate line with the moon.

I lived in North Dallas from 2005-2006. I know all about the
"MetroMess." Fortunately since I don't work when I am on land, I avoided
traveling during rush hour.
On another topic entirely, I would respectful ask that any flaming be
ceased on this thread. I think that it is the spirit of this thread to
talk about the LAN navigation exercise I have posted and keep personal
issues to either private emails or another thread.
