Correct.  If the topics are interesting to me then there is a good chance of attending.  If the topics are not interesting (to me), then I may not.  But if there is no information, how am I to choose?  Randomly?

Har-har. No, in this case I wasn't worried about any nitpicking. Not at all. I was sincerely concerned that someone would scan the message quickly, as we all often do, and get the actual impression that the exhibit would be gone in a year (singular!). So again, to re-iterate, I have been told that this is a "permanent" exhibit which will be available to visitors for YEARS to come. :)

As for that trivial mis-spelling "triffle", well that's just a bit of piffle. ;)

In short, you're a 'maybe'. That's fine. I know how you feel.

PS: Since we're on language, I encourage you not to refer to the NavList community as "the list". In the above context, you could say "the group" or "the community" or just "NavList" (no 'the'). It's not a big deal. I'm just trying to convince folks to modernize the description of this group in a very small way. ...Thank heavens no one refers to the group as a 'listerve' (a term which should have been dropped by 2000). I do follow one actual Internet "list" where curmudgeonly old-timers still talk about 'the listserve'. You can rest assured they have no one under 35 in their membership! :)
