Navigation Weekend: June 4-6, 2010 at Mystic Seaport
    From: Frank Reed
    Date: 2009 Nov 15, 22:29 -0800

The information on the 2010 Navigation Weekend is now live on the Mystic
Seaport web site, copied below, so I'm making the "official public
announcement" to NavList. Needless to say, you are all invited to attend. I
am looking forward to hearing any and all proposals for presentations at this
event!! I can't say they will all get approved, but we will try to make room
for anything you can think up.

This event will be held at the Treworgy Planetarium at Mystic Seaport in
    Mystic, Connecticut 41d 21' 44.0"N, 71d 57' 49.8"W. The dates are Friday,
    June 4, 2010 starting at 1pm, through Sunday, June 6, 2010 ending around 3pm
or later. I do apologize to any of you for whom these dates and location are
inconvenient. There is a small attendance fee, as required by the management
of the museum, of $10 for museum members (and anyone who has paid regular
museum gate admission for the weekend) or $35 if you prefer not to pay
    admission to Mystic Seaport.

You'll note the mention of the "Frank Reed School of Navigation". I couldn't
resist turning a little joke into reality. Details to follow. :-)
